As head of business development for DFA Australia, Vanessa Bennett manages Dimensional's Australian and New Zealand financial advisor relationships. She works with advisors to broaden investors' understanding of modern portfolio theory and introduce them to Dimensional's investment approach.
Prior to joining Dimensional in 2004, Vanessa was an associate director with Macquarie Bank. During her eight-year tenure there, she played a major role in evaluating superannuation legislation and educating financial advisors about technical strategies and business development. Vanessa received her Bachelor of Business in accounting and finance from the University of Technology, Sydney in 1995. She also earned a Graduate Diploma in applied finance and investment in 1999 and a Graduate Diploma in financial planning in 2002, both through the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA).
